DREAMNET

DreamNet is a fictional sleep technology created to explore the power of design to make something that doesn't exist feel real.

Combining AI, neurotechnology, and a personalized app, DreamNet is presented as a device that helps users fall asleep faster and customize their dreams. The project challenges how far branding, editorial design, storytelling, and visual communication can go in creating credibility around a completely imagined product.

The final outcome is a complete brand experience, from the earpiece and app to a limited-edition magazine designed to introduce DreamNet to its target audience as if it were a real emerging technology.

CAN DESIGN MAKE YOU BELIEVE IN SOMETHING THAT DOESN'T EXIST?

The outcome is a complete DreamNet ecosystem, including the brand identity, earpiece, mobile app, and editorial magazine. Rather than simply designing a product, I designed the story, evidence, and experience surrounding it—creating a believable reality for something that only exists within the project.

DreamNet is a fictional sleep technology created to explore exactly that question.

The concept is a smart earpiece and app that use AI and neurotechnology to help people fall asleep faster and customize their dreams. But the real challenge was not designing the product itself, it was making the world believe it was real.

CREATING BELIEVABILITY

I designed a limited-edition magazine inspired by AARP, targeting adults aged 50–65 who are interested in health, sleep, and well-being.

The magazine presents DreamNet as if it were a real emerging technology, using editorial storytelling, research, statistics, product features, and visual communication to build credibility.

Every element was carefully designed to answer one question: What would it take to make a fictional technology feel completely real?
