Arrels
Arrels is an agrotourism dedicated to immersing visitors in the vibrant and rooted Mallorcan culture. Through language immersion, exploration of local products, visits to historic sites, participation in traditional festivities, and hands-on cooking sessions featuring authentic recipes, the project seeks to deepen understanding and appreciation of Mallorca’s rich heritage.
Emphasizing sustainability and community engagement, it aims to address the pressing need to protect and preserve Mallorcan culture in the face of increasing tourist influx and globalization offering a meaningful platform for education, celebration, and connection between visitors and the local community.”
The project consists of a three-story agrotourism retreat designed to immerse guests in the authentic culture, traditions, and landscape of Mallorca while embracing sustainability.
Guests can participate in a variety of authentic activities, including traditional Mallorcan cooking classes led by a local chef, vinotherapy spa treatments using locally produced wines, visits to the property's wine cellar, and bicycle rentals with curated routes through the estate and surrounding countryside. The retreat also provides hiking maps featuring scenic trails and offers educational sessions introducing guests to Mallorcan history, culture, and traditions.
To further enrich the experience, the project includes an interactive "Learning Path" available at the reception. As guests take part in activities throughout their stay, they collect milestones that celebrate what they have learned about Mallorca, transforming cultural discovery into a fun and engaging journey.
